Our signature fall event draws visitors from across the Northeast and offers businesses and organizations a great opportunity to showcase their creativity and engage with the community. Admission is FREE for the community.
- Location: 11 School Street, Washington Depot, CT
- Set-Up Hours: Sunday, 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM for all vendors
- Festival Hours: Sunday, 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM, open to the public
- Vendor application required
Enter the Scarecrow Contest
Individuals, businesses, and organizations are invited to enter the WBA's Annual Scarecrow Contest held during the Harvest Festival. Enter by setting up your scarecrow in Riverwalk Park between 9:00 AM and 11:45 AM on Sunday, October 18th. The public will vote for their favorite. The winner will be announced at the event and on social media after the Festival.
Note: entrants are responsible for securing their Scarecrow in position at the event. Please bring your own materials to ensure your Scarecrow does not fall over. Advance registration is not required for the Scarecrow Contest.

Each year, the Washington Businesss Association commissions a local artist to create a collectible, limited-edition poster celebrating the bounty of Washington's annual Harvest Festival. Each print measures 12" X 18" and are available for pick-up at The Harvest Festival or at the shops listed below:
